About the Role

As an Account Manager , you will be responsible for growing the industrial distribution business within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and PACA regions. This role combines direct customer engagement with distributor sales support, and plays a key part in driving new product applications and delivering technical and commercial solutions. You will also support local activities for Key Accounts and manage projects independently. This position reports to the Sales Manager for ITC France & BeNeLux.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory plan to meet sales targets and market objectives
  • Drive both quantitative and qualitative growth with assigned customers
  • Manage accounts in alignment with the value-based customer strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users and strategic distributors
  • Maximize active selling time across various sales channels
  • Provide expert advice on technical and commercial aspects of products and their applications
  • Identify and implement new product applications to drive incremental sales
  • Deliver on-site technical support throughout the sales process
  • Understand customer key drivers (e.g., structure, decision-makers, client base) to gain buy-in and build trust
  • Ensure pricing aligns with internal pricing strategy and guidelines
  • Maintain accurate reporting of sales and project activities through the company’s CRM system

Your Profile

  • University degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within an international environment
  • Strong understanding of industrial sectors; knowledge of adhesives or technical solutions is a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to develop and sustain a strong professional network
  • Strong customer focus with a proactive and consultative approach
  • Fluency in both French and English is essential
  • Valid driving license required
  • Ideally located near a TGV station or airport to support regular travel across the assigned territory
