Heidrick Consulting serves as the firm’s leadership advisory arm. We are a team that is passionate about enabling a world better led. The Consultant role is the second level of our consulting career path and provides the opportunity to grow with one of the fastest growing leadership consultancies specializing in accelerating the performance of leaders, teams and organizations. In this role you will continue to learn and deepen your consulting skills by working as part of talented project teams. Your contributions will expose you to leaders across a variety of industries and geographies. From the beginning, you will be part of the client conversation – your ideas and contributions will be essential to shaping the outcome of our work.
The purpose of the Consultant role is to drive quality analysis and insights within your assigned projects. Your work will involve gathering, interpreting and presenting information in an impactful and compelling way to help drive client insights and engagement delivery.
Role Responsibilities
Client Impact & Engagement :
- Supporting Partners, Principals, Engagement Leaders in the delivery and may act as primary client liaison
- Preparing project plans, tracking progress and preparing client reports
- Facilitating and working with client teams with a client first mindset, managing and designing client sessions
- Designing a range of consulting solutions, reports and other deliverables that meet client needs
- Taking responsibility and ownership over assigned work, proactively managing to completion
- Ensuring work is “client ready” (e.g. error free, aligned with expectations, ready to be shared with client) and actively managing expectations with team (especially during any draft-revision processes)
- Achieving target utilization of 70%
