This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and strategic Data Science Lead to build and lead the company's data and data science initiatives 🎯.

Role Overview :

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and resourceful Data Science Lead to establish and lead a nascent data science function within the organization 🔑. You will define and execute the company's data strategy, identify key technological solutions, and champion data-driven decision-making across the organization 🏗️. Reporting directly to the CTO, this role requires a proactive leader capable of navigating an emerging and unstructured data environment while fostering collaboration and innovation 🤝.

What You'll Do :

• Strategy : Define and implement the data science vision and strategy aligned with the company’s objectives
• Leadership : Build the data science team as the organization grows, starting immediately with one Data Scientist
• Technology : Identify and implement the most suitable data science tools and solutions to meet objectives and scale up efforts
• ML Ops : Oversee the development of efficient data pipelines and processes for reliable, accurate, and scalable data processing
• Data Science : Lead the development of complex ML models (e.g., prediction, clustering, outlier identification, classification, regression, generation) to support preclinical research
• Collaboration : Work closely with the software engineering team (7 people) and other departments to integrate data science solutions
• Advocacy & Education : Promote data science methodologies and best practices across the organization
• Project Management : Oversee data science projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
