We are looking for an accomplished Principal Network Architect with 12+ years of expertise in networking technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista, SD-WAN, VPN, BGP, MPLS, network security, and cloud networking). This senior leadership role involves architecting enterprise-grade network solutions, defining strategic networking roadmaps, mentoring technical teams, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership : Define and drive the networking strategy, aligning with business objectives and emerging technology trends.

Network Architecture : Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructures for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

Network Implementation : Lead the deployment and optimization of networking solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and SD-WAN technologies.

Protocol Expertise : Implement and optimize advanced routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS) to ensure efficient traffic management.

Network Security : Design and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS / IPS, and zero-trust architectures.

Cloud Networking : Architect and manage networking solutions for cloud platforms (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure VNet, GCP Cloud Interconnect).

Mentorship : Mentor senior and junior network engineers, fostering expertise in networking technologies and best practices.

Collaboration : Partner with IT, DevOps, and security teams to align network solutions with organizational needs and application requirements.

Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize network performance, latency, and bandwidth utilization to ensure high availability and reliability.

Incident Management : Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid recovery.

Innovation : Drive the adoption of emerging networking technologies, such as network automation, SDN (Software-Defined Networking), and AI-driven network management.

Required Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience :

12+ years of professional experience in network engineering or architecture.

7+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing enterprise-grade network infrastructures.

5+ years of experience with advanced routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and network security solutions.

5+ years of experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Technical Skills :

Expert proficiency in networking technologies from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or Palo Alto Networks.

Advanced expertise in routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs).

Strong knowledge of network security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS / IPS, and zero-trust frameworks.

Deep experience with cloud networking, including VPCs, VNets, and hybrid connectivity solutions.

Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios) and automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Python).

Solid understanding of SD-WAN, SDN, and network virtualization technologies.

Proven leadership in Agile / DevOps environments, with experience driving enterprise-scale projects.
