Mission :

Ignite meaningful conversations and cultivate a thriving community across Shapermint and Truekind’s social media channels. As the voice of our brands, you’ll turn every interaction into an opportunity to delight our audience, strengthen brand trust, and build lasting loyalty within the shapewear and intimates space. Your work will be key in transforming followers into lifelong advocates by creating authentic, responsive, and emotionally resonant connections.

Main objectives

Boost Community Engagement : Drive a 30% increase in engagement on our Meta platforms (from 2% to 2.6%) by creating compelling conversations, responding with empathy and speed, and cultivating a sense of belonging among followers.

Fuel Business Growth : Partner with the Social Media team to help achieve $1.4M in revenue from organic and paid social media placements by amplifying content reach and fostering deeper connections with our audience.

Elevate Brand Love : Strengthen the perception of Shapermint and Truekind by building a vibrant, supportive, and confidence-driven community—one meaningful interaction at a time.

Be Our Voice on Reddit : Proactively monitor and engage in Reddit conversations to address brand concerns, neutralize misinformation, and rebuild trust through transparent, authentic dialogue.

Main responsibilities :

Strategic Community Building (Ongoing Outcomes)

Design and execute innovative community engagement strategies to drive interactions, impressions, and revenue across social media channels.

Leverage social listening tools to stay ahead of trends, gauge brand sentiment, and deeply understand the needs and language of our target audience.

Propose and lead community-building initiatives , including partnerships with influencers and strategic engagement with niche community accounts.

Amplify brand visibility by actively engaging not only on our posts but also on relevant social content across the industry, establishing Shapermint and Truekind as reference brands.

Continuously iterate on community management tactics based on real-time data and performance insights to meet growth and engagement KPIs.

Guide content ideation with audience insights and trend analysis, helping shape social calendars that resonate with our community’s interests and mindset.

Implement and optimize automation tools like ManyChat to scale comment-to-DM workflows that drive organic reach and direct sales.

Monitor and refine automation performance by tracking clicks, engagement, and conversion rates to maximize results.

Maintain a strategic Reddit presence to manage brand perception, address misinformation, and nurture trust through authentic dialogue.

Tactical Execution & Innovation (Accountabilities)

Spot and analyze trends weekly to ensure content relevance and fuel creative ideation.

Engage daily with our followers and other accounts to deepen connections, spark conversations, and foster loyalty.

Set up and manage chatbot automations to enable seamless, high-converting social selling experiences (e.g., “Comment ‘DISCOUNT’ to get a promo!”).

Craft compelling CTAs and responses that reflect Shapermint’s confident and supportive voice, encouraging community interaction and click-throughs.

Monitor conversion data from automated DMs to continuously improve messaging and strategy.

Support content creation with weekly briefs, creative suggestions, storyboards, and insight-based recommendations to grow community engagement.

Contribute copywriting for captions, comment replies, and community posts that build emotional resonance with our +35 female audience.

Explore and test AI tools to streamline content ideation and boost creative output.

Execute daily tasks in community management with discipline and agility, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

Collaborate with the Social Media Strategist to validate that all content aligns with what our audience genuinely cares about.

Analyze data weekly to refine community strategies and share actionable insights with the broader team.

Document meetings , update Asana tasks, and proactively share project updates and milestones.

Contribute to presentations and reports with social media insights that support decision-making.

Define and track OKRs tied to community engagement and influence key initiatives for upcoming launches and campaigns.

Plan and execute engagement strategies for product launches, special sales, and brand activations.

Hold weekly syncs with the Social Media Manager and Strategist to review progress, address blockers, and align on priorities.

Stay up-to-date on the latest algorithm shifts, platform updates, and community growth hacks to continually elevate our strategy.

Deep Dive into the Brand

Immerse yourself in Shapermint’s and Truekind’s brand DNA—values, tone, mission, and purpose.

Review the website, social channels, brand guidelines, and past community engagement efforts to understand what has worked and where the gaps are.

Learn how community management contributes to customer loyalty, brand reputation, and revenue.

2. Build Relationships

Connect with key stakeholders across Marketing, Brand, Influencer Relations, and Social Media teams.

Understand cross-functional collaboration and how your role weaves into the broader social and brand strategies.

3. Master the Tools

Get hands-on with our core platforms : Asana, Slack, Sprout Social, C-Calendar, Tableau, KPI Tracker, Google Suite, and ManyChat.

Learn to monitor sentiment and conversations on Reddit, and set up automation flows to respond effectively to high-volume interactions.

Align it with Shapermint’s broader business and social media goals, ensuring it resonates with our +35 U.S. female audience—moms, professionals, and women seeking confidence and comfort.

Integrate Reddit as a core pillar of our reputation and trust-building efforts.

2. Drive Execution

Take full ownership of daily community management—responding, engaging, and delighting users with speed, empathy, and brand authenticity.

Launch creative community-building initiatives, stay on top of trends, and feed fresh insights to the content team.

Ensure every interaction feels human, helpful, and unmistakably “Shapermint.”

3. Plan for Scale

Collaborate on setting quarterly OKRs for community growth, sentiment improvement, and engagement.

Define clear plans to reach these goals using a mix of data-driven tactics, creative experimentation, and Reddit reputation management.

Implement a system to track Reddit interactions, analyze sentiment shifts, and report on progress with clarity and insight.

5+ years of hands-on experience in social media strategy and community management for fast-paced apparel or retail brands (mandatory).

Exceptional written English skills , with a native or near-native level, and the ability to craft engaging, brand-aligned copy across channels.
