Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Global Marketing & Portfolio Director, Devices. The successful candidate will be required to act as the CEO of the product range, taking full ownership and responsibility for the success and growth of the product portfolio.
Define and drive the range of Product Portfolio Strategy :
- Define and drive the overall portfolio strategy to ensure alignment with company goals and market needs
- Define the optimal product offer segmentation and the right marketing mix in collaboration with the Commercial Teams
- Drive the project approval process for new product developments including the elaboration of the global business case
- Manage Market intelligence activities (clinical & market trends, differentiation opportunities, competition analysis, M&As...), considering both internal and external sources
- Manage the global range lifecycle on the field, from the launch of new products (incl. launch plan, international roll-out, promotional campaign, Training to the phase-out, availability of Marketing materials) to the product end-of-life (e.g. phasing-out strategy, supports lifetime, communication…)
Define Business and Customer requirements all along product development process :
Ensure the delivery of the business and customer requirements, with established prioritiesProvide priorities among product development roadmapsConduct voice of customers, and Human Factors / Usability studiesSteer Product Development execution roadmap together with the Steering CommitteeProvide regular update to the Senior Management on portfolio development, as well as commercial teams in order to properly plan product roll-outBusiness Development
Monitor the global business contribution and profitability of the portfolioProvide recommendations on Selling prices, Business models, Product bundling…Support key tenders and strategic customer meetingsEnsure proper business-driven priority management in the roadmap executionEvaluate new business opportunities and / or partnership, within and adjacent to core businessTeam Management :
Lead and manage a team of Global Product Managers to drive performance and achieve business objectives.Define the optimal organisation of your team and conduct recruitments when neededSet Individual objectives and drive the individual performance management processDefine the team skills development and training needsQualifications :
Proven experience in a senior marketing and portfolio management role within the MedTech industrySignificant Experience in Electronic Medical DevicesStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse teamIn-depth knowledge of Global Product Roll-out strategies and market dynamicsExcellent business development and negotiation skillsStrong Analytical and Strategic thinking abilitiesExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsSignificant experience in Medical Devices product management, ideally in the field of Infusion therapies and digital solutions for hospitals
