About the Role
As a Data Analyst within the e-banking division of one of Europe’s leading financial institutions, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights to guide strategic decisions and drive innovation in digital banking.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, leveraging advanced analytical tools to enhance customer experience, optimize operational performance and support compliance and security in a dynamic and demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to support business intelligence.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various banking systems using SSIS, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Perform in-depth analyses on MSSQL databases : querying, modeling, cleansing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate data flows, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements.
- Document processes, standards, and methodologies to ensure transparency and repeatability.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support regulatory compliance, risk management, and product development.
- Participate in the migration and integration of legacy systems to modern analytical platforms.
Required Technical Skills
BI & Data Visualization : Advanced proficiency in Tableau (dashboard creation, data visualization)Databases : Strong knowledge of MSSQL (design, SQL querying, optimization)ETL & Integration : Practical experience with SSIS for managing data flowsData Analysis : Data analysis, data modeling, data cleansingCompliance & Regulation : Good understanding of data governance, privacy, security, GDPR, PSD2Experience and Education
5 years of experience in data analysis, ideally in the banking or financial sectorBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related fieldRelevant certifications (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Certified : Data Analyst Associate, SSIS) are appreciatedFluency in French and EnglishNice to have
