Data Analyst - Cognizant

About the Role

As a Data Analyst within the e-banking division of one of Europe’s leading financial institutions, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights to guide strategic decisions and drive innovation in digital banking.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, leveraging advanced analytical tools to enhance customer experience, optimize operational performance and support compliance and security in a dynamic and demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to support business intelligence.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various banking systems using SSIS, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Perform in-depth analyses on MSSQL databases : querying, modeling, cleansing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate data flows, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements.
• Document processes, standards, and methodologies to ensure transparency and repeatability.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support regulatory compliance, risk management, and product development.
• Participate in the migration and integration of legacy systems to modern analytical platforms.
