The Software development manager is accountable for managing the engineering team responsible for the development and serial follow up support of the Liebherr Fleet Management Systems. This includes defining and evaluating system architecture and technical specifications, developing project plans, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, managing project timelines and budgets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive innovation and ensure the successful implementation of Fleet Management systems for application to both human operated and autonomous systems.

Key Accountabilities :
Lead the FMS development and validation team in the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects —Manage and ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and Liebherr quality standards —Manage resource allocation, workload distribution, and staffing levels to ensure optimal team performance and project delivery —Ensure software development process compliance with relevant standards —Facilitate effective communication within the development team and across department —International travels are required, particularly in Australia.

Qualifications / Experience :
Desirable – Minimum of 2 years’ experience in intensive system architecture design projects. Specific development experience with fleet management and or autonomous haulage systems is highly desirable. Post Graduate level qualification in management and leadership, Strong working knowledge of agile development methodologies.
