IT Applications Project Manager (m / f)

Job Description :

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an IT Applications Project Manager (f / m) to join our Aircraft Technical Data Department based in Toulouse, France.

Technical Data Department mission is to deliver innovative IT solutions that support the digital transformation and efficient operations of our Airlines customers.

As an IT Applications Project Manager, you will drive IT solutions for Customer Services department, focusing on Aircraft Technical Data.

The main responsibility is :

To understand the Technical data authoring

To understand the production needs and strategic objectives

To lead the corresponding IT Solutions Portfolio (via standard software of the market or specific solutions as well as Cloud based architecture)

To be aligned with Enterprise Architecture, the Airbus IT strategy and objectives.

Your challenges :

Manage the applications portfolio, from day to day operations to incremental evolutions

With the Business stakeholders, identify, structure and prioritize the needs for new and improved services

With the supply chain, organize delivery activities (from detailed specifications to development)

Define continuous ways of collaborating and bringing digital initiatives to the community

Lead the scoping of the  applications for its MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and future releases (collect of the need, arbitration on priorities, …) ensuring to reach the consensus with stakeholders,

Coordinate and contribute to the solutions implementation

Monitor daily applications issues and propose corrections and improvements

Contribute or Organize Project major milestones in line with IM Quality plan

Contribute to the future of Technical Data within Technical Data Modernization program

Your boarding pass :

Strong Project Management experience from Waterfall to Agile methodologies

Risk based approach and ability to manage escalation process

Creative and Innovative thinking

Rigorous in requirements capture and capabilities management

Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesizing complex information

Team Player and collaborative mind-set

Knowledge on Aircraft Technical Data / Documentation on Maintenance, Engineering will be well appreciated

Advanced level in French and advanced level in English.

Salary range :

Salary range based on the required profile : 60K€ to 70 K€ / year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication.
