Compliance Officer Market Surveillance (F / H)

Job Description

You join the Surveillance team as Compliance Officer Market Surveillance. This team is responsible for conducting investigations and analyzing transactions to detect possible attempts at market manipulation or insider trading.

On a daily basis, you are responsible for :

• Leading the optimization of the operational system for the generation, processing, escalation and closure of alerts concerning market monitoring, related to potential market abuse and current regulations (in conjunction with the Porto monitoring team, other regional experts and IT teams);
• Investigate and review market integrity alerts, in collaboration with the Global Markets Advisory Monitoring and Compliance team;
• Lead the training and development (in collaboration with local management) of the Monitoring Analyst (based in Porto) ;
• Maintain Market abuse risk assessment (Cartographie des risques relatifs à l'intégrité des marchés) to prioritize surveillance actions and surveillance system and policy developments.

As a Market Surveillance Compliance Officer, you participate in optimizing the functioning of the market surveillance operational system to detect potential breaches.
