Market Intelligence Senior Manager

To contribute to Saint-Gobain's Offer & Product strategy linked to construction and building materials' markets with focus on Gypsum and Insulation, we are looking for a Market Intelligence Senior Manager
You will define, prioritize, and propose actions that will have the most impact on on building up and structuring knowledge on construction market and its market segments - globally and regionally.
As part of the role, you will :
Building up / structuring knowledge on markets by :
- Identifying and tracking latest development, trends and news
- Following and structuring information on market actors in terms of their strategies and market evolutions / shares
- Analyzing all major moves of competitors and providing information on all impacts / risks on our businesses
- Creating and keeping updated ID cards on major competitors
- Keeping updated all databases
Support countries and business units with on demand services by :
- Organizing and executing ad hoc Market research delivering the necessary information, through primary and secondary market research
- Identifying and sharing most relevant information / insights across diverse target audience
- Accompanying the voluntary countries in the set-up of their local market knowledge and market research
Be an ambassador and proactively promote Market Intelligence within the company by :
- Creating internal network and improving market knowledge to countries.
- Being an active actor and creating understanding of importance of market knowledge through use cases and best practice sharing
- Bringing new ideas and proposing continuous improvement in terms of tools and processes
- Co-animating the Market Intelligence Community (Yammer, HIVE, ad hoc meetings / live chats with external providers)
- Contributing to company's strategic discussions, papers and plan
Manage and develop Watch Platforms by :
- Managing development of the tools : providing continuous feedback and suggestions to the suppliers to improve and develop the platforms (service, features, etc.
- to ensure reliable and relevant service level of market watch for the entire Group
- Managing relationship with the suppliers
- Promoting tools to onboard progressively local business units on the platforms and developing necessary internal tools (Watch Platforms) based on their demand (collect feedback, plan and co-design developments, manage the external partner / tool developer, ensure smooth and on time and full quality new deployments of the tool)

Education and experience
Business / Marketing / Engineer (min. MSc level)
10 years experiences in industrial sector including 5 years in areas such as market intelligence, strategic marketing or planning
Knowledge / Skills
- Construction market and its ecosystem (desirable)
- Fluent English and French speaking, other languages are a plus
- Proficient in Excel and Power Point, Power BI is a plus
- Curious and passionate about deep market knowledge
- Business oriented, with a delivery & service mindset
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication both in oral and written communication
- Cross-cultural skills
- Team player - cooperating and networking with large group of people
