Description
As the VM designer of the brand in the region, you protect the image of the brand in the region, know how the brand should look and where to find all relevant creative asset to merchandise the brand in-store.
Design launch & event merchandising material for EMEA markets , adapting global designs & layouts to regional size-specific and locally relevant application and in accordance with the EMEA marketing calendar, retail environment and budgets.
Projects elements include windows, podium, in-store collateral, shelf and counter displays for Perfumeries, Department Stores, Free-standing stores and malls.
You will present your ideas internally via concept sketches, cardboard comps, 2D and 3D renderings .
Design custom graphic or trade merchandising solutions for specific market request, using regional and global approved guidelines.
Proposes graphic solutions in accordance with the Brand guidelines and local constraints within deadlines.
Illlustrate launch guidelines books for EMEA affiliates for each launch.
Issue design standards to affiliate teams for projects or graphics produced by local vendors. Issues Graphic Execution files for Permanent, launch and events regional activites
Design, adapt & execute graphics and merchandising of counters drawn by Store Design, in accordance with directions set by the Global Creative team in New York, taking into account the EMEA requirements (languages, dimensions.

Collaborate with Store Design team to assure successful integration of display and collateral elements into each project.
Build and maintain product drawing database
Create and update of planograms according to the Brands’ Global / Regional marketing plans
Oversee Global / Regional launch POSM production with IP & Technical Development Department
Identify and suggest areas of improvements to increase visibility and brand presence at POS
Survey Competition and analyze SD / VM competitive advantages.
Communication and Organization
Work closely and complementarily with VM Manager. Build and nurture close relationships with Global & Affiliates, SD
teams, Engineering, IP Department and Project Management Department
Ensure Constant optimization of work tools, processes and communication
Establish a list of preferred and reliable freelance consultants to unsure workload smoothness.
Qualifications
Creative and methodical, able to express the DNA of a brand through visual displays, graphic layouts and event set-ups.
Completely proficient with Adobe creative suite, 3D rendering (Sketchup is OK), Acrobat, Microsoft office.
Produces 3D illustrations, plans and 2D graphics to answer to all VM regional needs : permanent merchandising elements, launch items and guidelines, in-store artwork and graphics.
Good written and oral communication skills
Work experience on Graphic / POSM Design and Launch Visual Merchandising field
Practical knowledge of Graphic printing, POSM & Scenography production / execution methods
Knowledge of the regional and local Points of Sales specifics (FSS, Department stores, Perfumeries)
