Delightfully Parisian, The Peninsula Paris hotel is ideally located in the heart of the capital, just steps away from some of the world’s most famous monuments, museums, and luxury boutiques. The iconic Haussmannian building comprises 200 luxurious rooms, including 93 suites that are among the most spectacular in the city. In collaboration with the wonderful team at The Peninsula Paris, we are looking for a Restaurant Director for our Cantonese gourmet restaurant, LiLi.

Key Accountabilities

  • Exceeds guest expectations with service, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles, focusing on the core principles. Looks for improvement for better service standards with a general theme of anticipating the guests' needs.
  • Ensures productivity levels are concurrently met in the restaurant and understands the need to prudently manage utility / payroll costs within stipulated budgetary requirements. Ensures the monthly and annual revenue targets are met and analyses all operational data to manage business periods, client needs, and forecast future business.
  • Manages the day-to-day operations ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Ensures successful and profitable leadership of the outlet.
  • Suggests and develops sales strategies, promotions, activities, and budget to support the hotel in preparing the annual F&B marketing plan and budget.
  • Hires, develops, motivates, supervises, and performance manages department colleagues in maintaining a culture in compliance with mission, vision, values, and core principles of HSH.

General Requirements

  • Minimum 5-year experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment with similar standards and expectations.
  • Is a natural organiser, highly detailed, and able to engage with guests.
  • Strong people leader having prior experience managing a team.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills; highly adaptable, naturally positive.
  • Fluent English communication proficiency. Expertise in a second language would be desirable.
