Overview
Promote the highest level of safety for TDW personnel within Bischheim site and HT&P low pressure Services in Europe.
Lead TDW HSE performances towards the more demanding standard of the industry. Ensure compliance of Bischheim site and HT&P low pressure Services in Europe to legal HSE requirements and to ISO 14001, 45001, MASE standards.
Responsibilities
Continual improvement of HSE performance in Bischheim site (50%)
- Ensure the implementation of Global HSE strategy in Bischheim site,
- Direct activities and gives guidance concerning health, safety and environmental issues,
- Assists and coach the management teams in their HSE responsibility,
- Motivates personnel toward a higher level of HSE involvement and promotes the participation of all employees in continual improvement of their work environment by raising the general safety awareness (trough communication & training),
- Supports HSE initiatives and trainings to sustain the HSE culture in EH,
- Monitors HSE performance for France operations regarding procedures & performances by conducting periodic audits for compliance against the Company HSE standards,
- Assists the managers with the implementation of the latest topics related to governmental regulations,
- Initiates & supports HSE policies & procedures for all activities,
- Ensure proper investigating of work-related injuries to reduce future incidents and ensure communication of the lessons learned,
- Support the local site leaders in monthly HSE meetings (CSE),
- Gives support and guidance to local first aid and fire brigade teams,
- Ensure medical visits are held as per legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with country HSE regulations, customer HSE requirements and to various HSE Management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, MASE).
Continual improvement of HSE performance in HT&P low pressure Services in Europe (30%)
- Ensure the implementation of Global HSE strategy in HT&P low pressure activities,
- Answer to HSE information requests from clients,
- Prepare HSE documents requested by clients during quotation and project phases,
- Conducts HSE audits on the field,
- Perform risk assessments,
- Ensure technicians received an adequate HSE training.
Support Stavanger site and SmartPlug® activities (20%)
Provide support to Stavanger site and SmartPlug® HSE activities
Experience
- Master (5-year) degree from a regionally accredited school or university in HSE, Engineering discipline or other technical discipline,
- Minimum 5 years experience of total direct HSE experience as an HSE professional,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French,
- Strong grasp and understanding of HSE Government regulations in France and Europe, safety compliance and industrial hygiene, auditing, correction / preventive action, continuous improvement,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
- Strong organization skills and rigor,
- Able to inspire and motivate people who are not directly under his responsibility,
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards as well as MASE,
- Microsoft Office applications
- Travel (up to 20% of the working time) is required for this position.
