What you will do...
You will focus on modeling integrated photonic building blocks (BB), which are crucial for Quandela's next-generation quantum photonic processors.
Depending on your experience and the length of the internship, you may work on deepening the understanding of existing building blocks or exploring new functionalities.
This role includes conducting standard electromagnetic simulations and / or circuit modelling using commercial software like Lumerical FDTD, FDE, EME or INTERCONNECT.

You may also participate in designing circuit layouts and models utilizing a custom library currently being developed at Quandela, along with tools like gdsfactory and KLayout.
