Key Accountabilities
The Project Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Study Phase (Pre- and Post-Sales) :
Coordinate with the Engineering Office to ensure accurate analysis of photovoltaic potential and relevant technical solutions.Supervise external service providers (architects, topographic surveys, soil studies, utility detection, asbestos diagnostics, etc.) in collaboration with the Engineering Office, Procurement, and Site Manager.Development Phase :
Initiate, negotiate, and obtain urban planning permits in coordination with urban planning authorities, architects, and the DREAL (regional environmental authority).Oversee all grid connection procedures : liaise with distribution network operators, project teams, and the engineering office (especially to secure feed-in tariffs or self-consumption bonuses under current regulations).Understand and implement contractual and legal conditions (contracts, lease agreements, etc.).Coordinate the preparation of applications for feed-in tariff or market premium contracts, depending on project type, with the Engineering Office.Develop a detailed project schedule in collaboration with stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, etc.).Construction Phase :
In coordination with internal and external stakeholders, the Project Manager oversees :Acting as the Owner’s Representative during construction.Supervising and / or drafting technical specifications and tender documents, including “back-to-back” clauses from client contracts.Selecting suppliers for the construction and operation of photovoltaic plants.Ensuring QHSE / Cost / Deadline compliance during construction, up to commissioning and grid connection, while monitoring CAPEX and timelines.Coordinating with building owners’ technical teams, construction suppliers (engineering firms, contractors, roofers, electricians, equipment distributors, etc.), and control bodies (inspection agencies, fire safety services, safety coordinators, etc.).Organizing commissioning.Operation Phase :
Oversee operations until all contractual obligations are fulfilled.Your Background –
University degree in EngineeringMinimum of 3 years in project management for rooftop or commercial solar projectsFluent in English and FrenchConstruction management experience in FranceBenefits –
