As our first HR Business Partner in France, you'll play a critical role in shaping the employee experience and driving alignment between people and business goals. Acting as the bridge between Talent Acquisition, People Development, and Operations, you'll build trusted relationships, foster high-performing teams, and navigate change with confidence.

Your Role
- Strategic Business Partner : Align people strategies with Shiftmove’s goals, supporting organisational design, workforce planning, and team effectiveness.
- Coach to Leaders : Guide and empower managers through performance challenges, organisational changes, and day-to-day people matters—helping them become strong, future-ready leaders.
- Talent & Culture Builder : Design and deliver programs that support performance management, career growth, and succession planning to foster a culture of development and accountability.
- Employee Relations Expert : Act as a trusted advisor on sensitive employee topics, collaborating with your People team lead and ensuring full compliance with French labour laws.
- Data-Informed Advisor : Use people data and insights to inform decision-making, identify opportunities for improvement, and continuously evolve our people practices.
- Cross-Border Connector : Ensure consistency of HR practices across our French entities while adapting global policies to meet local needs and realities.
Requirements
Extensive, senior-level experience as an HR Business Partner in fast-paced, international environments.Demonstrated success working across multi-site and matrix organisations.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence, challenge, and partner with leaders at all levels.Native-level French and fluent English are required to operate effectively in an international context.Analytical mindset, comfortable using data to inform people decisions and drive continuous improvement.Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a constantly evolving context.Deep expertise in French labour law, with experience supporting leaders on complex employee relations matters.Nice to have :
