Who you are :

Geotab is seeking Project Manager to assist the Geotab Sales Teams in with deployment project execution coordinate with customers and partners interact with the Solutions Engineering and Development community as well as transitioning into Service Delivery you love technology are passionate about engineering support and are keen to join an industry leader we would love to hear from you!

What youll do :

The Project Manager is responsible for managing key cross-functional projects and initiatives that vary in scope and complexity with impact on several business areas across the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring projects produce the required deliverables of quality within specified time constraints and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case. The Project Manager also contributes to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

This is an international position as projects are often spread across various countries and continents.

French Spanish and English language proficiency are required for this role.

The ideal candidate will understand the software firmware hardware and other architectures and concepts associated with the product including a total systems view of the components that work together efficiently.

How youll make an impact

• Responsible for overall project execution success serving as the main point of contact for client and senior management for the project.
• Support all aspects of the implementation and progression of assigned projects from original concept through project closure activities.
• Provide leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals and adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Coordinate definition of project scope and objectives.
• Assist in defining the resources required to support the project.
• Define high-level work plans key project tasks and deliverables and manage the integration of resources and knowledge across projects and tasks.
• Manage project issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline dependencies and critical path deliverables.
• Manage change in scope.
• Communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones deliverables dependencies risks and issues communicating across leadership.
• Maintain up-to-date project document repository.
• Participate in establishing best practices templates policies tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
• Ensure adherence to corporate standards and practices and serve as a key contact in the escalation process.
• Coach mentor and motivate more junior Project Managers.

At Geotab we have adopted a flexible hybrid working model in that we have systems functions programs and policies in place to support both in-person and virtual work. However you are welcomed and encouraged to come into our beautiful safe clean offices as often as you like. When working from home you are required to have a reliable internet connection with at least 50mb DL / 10mb UL.
