Role and Missions — What you will do 🚀
We are seeking a Game Data Analyst to join our Game Analytics team and play a pivotal role in optimizing our hypercasual and hypercasual+ games. You will collaborate closely with our Product teams—including in-house studios and publishing teams—to analyze player behaviors, identify key improvement areas, and drive data-informed decision-making before and after game launches. Reporting to our Game Analytics Lead, your insights will directly impact game performance and success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Game Performance Analysis : Partner with Publishing Managers and Game Managers to evaluate game performance, analyze player behaviors, and provide actionable recommendations for improving pre-published and live games.
- A / B Testing Leadership : Own the A / B testing process, including planning, parameter selection, execution, and in-depth analysis to make statistically sound decisions that optimize game features and mechanics.
- Standardized Analytical Frameworks : Develop and implement best-in-class processes for analyzing and launching new hypercasual games, ensuring a structured and repeatable approach to game success.
- Data-driven decision-making : Leverage data visualization and storytelling to translate complex datasets into clear, compelling insights for cross-functional teams.
- KPI Monitoring & Reporting : Track and report key game metrics such as retention, engagement, monetization, and user acquisition performance, providing timely insights to guide strategy.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing : Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to establish data-driven best practices and enhance the overall game development pipeline.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For :
3+ years of experience in data analysis, ideally within the mobile gaming industry (hypercasual experience is a plus).Technical skills to analyse data (SQL / Python EDA - Analytical mindset) and automate processes (Python script / dbt / Tableau)Strong understanding of A / B testing, statistical significance, and experiment design.Familiarity with key mobile gaming metrics (DAU, ARPU, LTV, CPI, etc.) and game telemetry.Ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to drive actionable insights and game improvements.Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders across various teams.Passion for hypercasual games and a willingness to iterate rapidly in a fast-paced environment.Our Culture—Who we are 🪐
