Pocket FM is revolutionizing audio entertainment globally, with 80+ million listeners spending
over 110 minutes daily on our platform. As we expand to France, we need a tactical creative
leader who can take our proven promotional assets and crack the French acquisition funnel
through smart adaptation and relentless testing.
We're seeking a Promo Lead to oversee the localization and optimization of our promotional
content pipeline. You'll take successful base promo assets, adapt them for French audiences,
and create multiple variations to find the winning combinations that drive cost-effective user
acquisition.
The Goal
Lead a focused team of promo writers and video editors to systematically adapt, test, and
optimize promotional content for French market acquisition. Starting with proven base assets
20-40 minute promotional videos), you'll create multiple variants with different openings, hooks,
and messaging to crack the acquisition code on Meta, Google, TikTok, and other acquisition
channels.
Your success will be measured by your ability to find the creative variations that deliver the
lowest Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC) while maintaining high conversion rates from promo
viewers to paying subscribers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee dubbing operations with agencies / internal teams of base promotional assets
- from successful markets (Germany / US)
- Ensure cultural adaptation beyond translation - making content feel authentically French
- Quality control all dubbed content for lip-sync accuracy, emotional resonance, and technical standards
- Coordinate with original content teams to understand narrative context and key emotional beats
Creative Variation Development
Lead systematic testing approach creating mutiple different openings per base promo assetWork with promo writers to craft compelling French hooks that capture attentionDevelop opening frameworks (mystery hooks, character introductions, conflict setups, cliffhangers)Maintain asset library of winning openings and creative patterns for scalingTeam Management & Production Workflow

10+ years in performance creative roles at digital agencies, studios or production companiesHands-on experience managing creative testing on social media channels, with measurable impact on acquisition metricsTrack record of scaling creative production while maintaining quality and speedExperience with content localization and cultural adaptation for French marketExperience with fast-paced production environments and tight deadline managementStrong project management skills with multiple concurrent campaignsStrong understanding of video production and post-production workflowsExperience with creative testing methodologies and statistical significanceFamiliarity with performance marketing platforms (Meta Ads Manager, YouTube Ads, TikTok Ads)Comfort with data analysis and creative performance metricsExperience with attribution and conversion trackingAbility to translate data insights into creative directionLocation : Remote (France) | Paris area preferred
