Your mission in the team :
As a People & Culture Lead France and Senior Business Partner, you will play a vital role in driving the people and culture agenda in France, together with the team based in France. You will be leading the team, while also still being involved on the operational level, and act as one of our People Partners, ensuring the smooth running for all our people.
You will be the most senior HR person in our French operation and will join us at a particularly exciting time, as we recently acquired the activities of Luko and welcomed all of its staff to create the winning formula to become the #1 digital insurer in France and in Europe. Some of your specific responsibilities could include :
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3 HR professionals in France, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and innovation within the team.
- Partner with the business stakeholders and act as strategic advisor, in a post M&A context (e.g. aligning and harmonizing HR processes / policies)
- Develop and implement end-to-end strategies to support the business sustainably and assess the people and culture implications of the business strategy to design solutions.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance employee experience and engagement, satisfaction, and retention, such as performance management, career development, and recognition initiatives.
- Advice and coach people leaders and staff on employee relations topics
- Collaborate with your People and culture peers and experts across the other countries on programs and initiatives.
- Act as a trusted contact person for the Works Council (CSE).
What do we recommend to be successful?
At least 6 years of relevant People & Culture (HR) experience including experience in people management), preferably in a global organization, including experience with employee representative bodies and knowledge of French labor and employment law.Able to work in a matrix and virtual team environment supporting multiple locations.Excellent stakeholder management. Ability to maintain and build relationships with all employees, including Senior Management.Experience with managing organizational change, including restructuring and transformation programs with a global scope.Good communication skills and fluency in French and EnglishAble to negotiate, even in challenging situations, and steer discussions to a desired end.Autonomy and a can-do attitude, solution-finder rather than solely problem-raiserBachelor / Master’s degree in law, business, psychology, or related field.If you have M&A experience ->that’s a plus (though not mandatory)
