Our client’s Research & Development Team is looking for Digital Team Leader to join us. The candidate will manage a team from concept to GDSII and, in close collaboration with the technical director, will contribute to the definition, implementation and monitoring of a common digital design methodology.
The candidate will also work in close collaboration with the other design teams (verification, physical implementation, mixed signal…) to deliver state-of-the-art SoC in advanced CMOS technology.
Work description
- Lead and support a digital IC design team from RTL to GDSII
- Propose a design methodology and contribute to its development to harmonize practices and maximize the performance of the digital design team(s), considering the needs of the complete set of projects
- Interact with EDA providers to give the best support to the design team and improve the use of tools
- Contribute to the practices’ harmonization of design tools as well as technical documentation
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of means of sharing expertise within the digital design team(s)
- Ensure close collaboration between the digital design team(s) and the analog and mixed design team(s), software and laboratory layout
- Contribute to the smooth running of the digital design team(s) on a daily basis.
- Use technical expertise to advise members of the digital design team(s)
- Be responsible of technical training missions in the field of digital design as needed.
- Be responsible of technical lead missions within projects as needed
- Participate in the definition of the specification of new products with the Sales & Marketing team and with customers
- Execute the yearly appraisal of the team members
- Participate in the presentation of projects and products to customers in close collaboration with the Sales & Marketing team
Qualification and Experience
You have a MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 10+ years of hands-on experience in chip-level and circuit-level architecture definition, RTL design and verificationYou have a solid background in digital electronic and signal processingYou have a very good vision of the entire digital ASIC design flow from RTL to GDSIIYou have a strong experience in digital ASIC project and team managementYou have an experience in the design of high-speed digital signal processing blocks with multi power and multi-clock domain constraintsYou have solid knowledge of a digital hardware description languages (VHDL or Verilog), SystemVerilog and scripting languages (TCL, Perl, Python)A previous experience in design and verification of digital functions for Mixed-Signal ASICs such as A / D Converters, D / A Converters, and / or RF transceivers is a plusA previous experience with Cadence or Synopsys RTL design flow is a plusYou have a good understanding and practice of digital design toolsYou are creative and proactiveYou demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skillsBilingual French & EnglishNegotiation skillsCommunication and listening skill
