For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Package Engineer - Instrumentation
Role summary
Under the responsibility of the Principal Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to :
- Develop specific specifications for INS / Valves / Packages.
- Prepare data sheets, requisitions, IDS, and other documents for tenders.
- Monitor the instrumentation and control component (vendor documentation) of mechanical packages and manage interfaces with the vendors' instrumentation and FAT teams.
- Ensure the work is performed in accordance with the latest HSEQ and Group procedures.
- Provide engineering assistance during mobilizations and occasional periods of offshore or site working, including FATs, SITs, Pre-commissioning, etc.
- Participate as required in events such as Bid Clarifications, Kick off meetings, HIRAs, Design Reviews, etc.
- Check that the procedure and analysis match the project objectives.
- Attend to project audits related to Engineering Activities as and when required.
- Attend to project engineering reviews as and when required.
- Provide technical engineering support to other departments within the Engineering Group, the Project Engineering Group, and to colleagues in terms of training and mentoring.
- Ensure that know-how is transferred within the discipline & attend to discipline meeting as required.
Qualifications
Proficiency in EnglishSignificant experience in instrumentation for floater and E&I building projects and for this type of activity.Demonstrable initiativeAbility to prepare and manage technical documentation and specifications.Experience in interfacing with vendors and managing interfaces with their instrumentation and FAT teams.Ability to work within time / budget constraints.Ability to work in a multicultural groupConditions
Majority of the work is carried out in the regional main office siteOffshore / Off-site location during project Execution phase as required.Working hours according to local regulation and Company's policy
