The Exit Lane Monitor will provide staffing for control of the passenger exit lane in the main terminal and concourse to assure no person breaches security by entering the sterile area of the terminal. This position will be staffed continuously from the time the airport opens each morning until the last aircraft arrives at night and the last passenger has exited the terminal.

This is a position which requires onthejob security training and the ability to receive all applicable airport security badges.

• Guard the exit of the secured area of the airport to allow no unauthorized entrance
• Notify the TSA and police immediately of someone breaching the exit
• Prevent passengers from turning around in the exit area
• Abide by all airport and security rules and regulations in challenging suspicious individuals and those not wearing an unescorted SIDA identification badge.
• Report all suspicious individuals and articles immediately as directed

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers and to communicate with customers and fellow employees. Salary Range : $14.42 / hr
