Accounting and Finance Responsible (m/f/d)

Körber Pharma Software, an industry leading software firm within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, is offering an outstanding career opportunity for an Accounting and Finance Responsible to join our growing team in France.

The French subsidiary is currently internalizing its accounting activities and therefore has created this new position to support the transition.

This role offers a significant opportunity to a motivated and enthusiastic candidate looking for a comprehensive role including all aspects of accounting and finance in the context of an international group, as you will be solely responsible for managing the accounting and finance activities.

Your role in our team

• Setup and further expansion of in-house accounting (takeover of financial service providers) and independent and fully comprehensive processing of all accounting activities

• Carry out careful checks and account assignments in accordance with commercial and tax law aspects to ensure compliance

• Preparation and submit of VAT returns

• Regular reconciliation of accounts and clarification of open items

• Reconciliation of settlements between the affiliated Group companies

• Control, processing and payment of travel expense reports

• Preparation and execution of payment transactions as well as liquidity control

• Implementation of receivables management

• Coordination and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements

• Preparation of annual tax returns for in collaboration with the tax advisor

• Monthly transfer of local accounting to the German group Reporting according to HGB as well as preparation of all necessary reports; further controlling tasks if necessary

• Coordination of tax matters with the local tax advisor and Group Tax

• Communication with auditors and tax advisors as well as close coordination with the finance colleagues of the German parent company

Your profile

• Successfully completed commercial training or studies in Business Administration

• Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably within an international group of companies

• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and travel expense policies

• Proficient in SAP S/4HANA and the Microsoft Office suite

• Experience in controlling/management accounting is a plus

• Professional experience working in an English-speaking environment

• Strong sense of personal responsibility with an independent, hands-on working style

• Structured, process-oriented, and goal-driven approach with a high level of cost awareness

• Strong analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail

• Confident decision-making abilities

• Fluent in French, both written and spoken is mandatory as well as very good written and spoken English
