The Manager – People & Talent is responsible for driving the organization’s HR agenda through a dual focus on people & culture and performance & talent development. This role plays a key part in shaping a high-performance, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture across all business units while ensuring HR operations, employee relations, and wellbeing programs are executed to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic and hands-on HR leader who thrives in dynamic, multi-business environments and can balance operational excellence with people-centric leadership.
Key Responsibilities
People, Culture & Engagement

Lead initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the organization.

Design and implement employee engagement, recognition, and wellbeing programs.

Act as a key contact for employee relations, providing advice, conflict resolution, and policy guidance.
Performance & Development

Manage the performance appraisal process, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Coach managers on feedback, employee growth, and performance management.

Identify high-potential employees and lead succession planning for key roles.

Oversee training needs analysis (TNA) and implement targeted learning programs.
Talent Management & Acquisition Support

Partner with recruitment to align attraction, onboarding, and retention strategies with workforce planning.

Provide data-driven insights on turnover, engagement, and workforce trends.

Ensure onboarding processes reinforce company values and performance expectations.
Compensation, Benefits & Wellbeing

Oversee salary benchmarking, internal equity, and compensation assessments.

Manage employee benefits and wellbeing initiatives to promote work-life balance.

Ensure compensation frameworks remain fair, consistent, and market-competitive.
HR Operations & Compliance

Supervise HR operations including payroll, HRIS, employee records, and reporting.

Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law and internal HR policies.

Maintain updated HR procedures, handbooks, and documentation in line with legislation.
Organizational Development & Change

Support business leaders in organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.

Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, systems, and tools.

Align people strategies with operational and strategic business goals.
Strategic Initiatives

Contribute to the design and implementation of group-wide HR frameworks.

Lead initiatives such as succession planning, future workforce readiness, and leadership competency programs.

Provide strategic HR insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).

Master’s degree or professional certification (CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
Experience
-
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience focusing on performance management, talent development, and engagement.

Experience working within group or multi-business environments in Qatar or the GCC is preferred.

Proven record of implementing HR initiatives that enhance culture, retention, and performance.
