Project Director/Manager PV Solar Farm (H/F)
On behalf of one of our international clients operating in the renewable energy sector, we are looking for a Project Director / Manager PV Solar Farm in Australia.
As Project Director / Manager PV Solar Farm, your main tasks will be to :
- Manage the whole cycle from Contract signature to O&M handover phase / Practical completion (1.5-2 years)
- Contract management of EPC contract, Connection agreement, Development application, Owner's Engineer agreement, Stakeholder engagement officer agreement, and Construction management agreement
- Liaison with internal departments Finance, Legal, Development, Asset management, and Technical team
- Leading weekly and / or fortnightly / monthly meetings with the Customer, Owner's Engineer (OE), Stakeholder engagement officer, and internal departments
- Schedule analysis, with a focus on current activities and critical path analysis, through Microsoft Projects
- Construction budget analysis, in comparison with initial financial model, and ways to minimise costs
- Be accountable for the revenues, margin and cash forecast on a quarterly basis. Manage actively risks and opportunities.
Prepare monthly and quarterly Project Reviews.
- General review of full Engineering submissions by EPC Contractor in coordination with OE
- Contractual letter writing approval of payment milestones, response to claims, notice of delays, extension of time events, compensation events, etc.
- Managing AEMO Registration process throughout R1 phase and through Hold Point testing (R2)
- Site visits fortnightly / monthly (with a focus on HSE and current and upcoming works progress)
- HSE internal monthly reports from EPC data and Environmental audits (through third party agreement with Environmental consultant)
- Driving Engineering and construction workshops (design to cost + industrialisation of the construction) + meetings (HAZCON, HAZOP, Safety in Design, RFI , Non-conformance report and Engineering review discussions)
Profil recherché
First experience in France in solar farms, with a strong ability to coach and manage a young team (minimum 20 people). Good coordinator, able to manage both local interactions and the remote management of the design office in France.
Proven decision-making and arbitration skills.
Bachelor's degree (Bac / ) with 5 years of confirmed experience in project design management. OR Master's degree (Bac) in civil, electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
