In-House Legal Counsel

We are looking for someone to join our dynamic International Legal Department. This individual will have a Master's degree in French or English law and will be fluent in English and capable of drafting contracts and other legal documents in English. They will have a minimum of 5 years' experience, ideally in banking, insurance or finance or have worked in a law firm.

They will be business orientated, have strong analytical skills, enjoy a challenging and fast-paced environment and will be happy to work within a supportive team.

Reporting to the Head of the International Legal Department, the post would include, but would not be limited to, the following :

• negotiation and drafting of all types of contracts (partnership agreements, provision of services, NDAs etc.) and finance contracts and associated guarantees, working mainly in English, particularly for its international pleasure boat market;
• adaptation of retail and wholesale financing contracts to new legal and regulatory requirements;
• advice and support for business teams in relation to the activity of financing in various countries; and
• legal and regulatory monitoring.

Vos missions porteront sur les activités principales suivantes :

• Négociation et rédaction en anglais de tous types de contrats (conventions de partenariat, prestation de services, accords de confidentialité,), de contrats de financement et des garanties associées, notamment pour son marché international de financement de bateaux de plaisance ;
• Adaptation des contrats de financement retail et wholesale aux nouvelles exigences légales et réglementaires ;
• Conseils et assistance aux équipes commerciales en lien avec les activités de financement dans divers pays ; et
• Veille juridique et réglementaire.

Cette liste n'étant pas exhaustive, vous pourrez être amené(e) à travailler sur d'autres sujets.

Master en droit français ou anglais, vous êtes bilingue anglais-français et capable de rédiger des contrats et autres documents juridiques en anglais. Vous disposez d'une expérience réussie de 5 ans minimum, idéalement en banque, assurance ou finance, ou au sein d'un cabinet d'avocats.

Vous êtes orienté(e) business et vous êtes force de proposition. Vous disposez d'une solide capacité d'analyse. Aimant travailler dans un environnement stimulant avec un rythme de travail rapide, vous appréciez de travailler au sein d'une équipe soudée.
