GROUPE ATLANTIC is opening a factory in Ploiesti, in Romania where the company invests 51 million Euros to produce hot water cylinders and electrical water heaters for domestic use.

The production should start end of 2024. As part of the start-up of our activities in the country, Groupe ATLANTIC is looking to increase the size of its R&D team and is looking for an R&D Mechanical Engineer (M / F).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES : The role of the R&D Mechanical Engineer in our organization is to BE responsible and autonomous in the engineering of final products, sub-assemblies and components during the development and / or the modification of existing solutions : - Design parts with a special focus on reliability and robustness using necessary tools and methods.

• Analyse suppliers' quotation with quality and purchasing departments and validate the feasibility before GO tooling.- Organise the validation of its designs by implementing validation plan and risk analysis (FMEA) with help of R&D Project Managers, engineers, and employees from other departments.
• Ensure that all newly created products will BE successfully transferred from lab status to production status with minimum quality and process concerns.
• Consider and analyze our competitors' solutions and search for the best practices of the sector. Define priorities by purchasing family.
• Gather any legal documents including laws regulation and patents, which is relevant to product or affect product performanceWHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN US : - B.
