We are looking for an apprentice machinist for our Arnage site (approx. 260 employees).

Responsibilities :

Use of machines and equipment : Operate basic equipment and machines and perform routine tasks.

Operations management : Perform operational tasks following established processes.

Equipment maintenance and repair : Contribute to equipment maintenance and repair by making preparations and providing assistance.

Health, safety and environment : Follow basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others.

Operational compliance : Follow a simple mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and / or to guarantee compliance with external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.

Use of precision equipment : Interpret and use precision measuring equipment / instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators and depth gauges.

Policies and procedures : Work with consultants to understand policies and procedures, while ensuring that they correspond to the organization's strategies and objectives.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

General mechanical skills.

Ability to read and interpret drawings and geometric tolerances.

Team spirit and interpersonal skills.

Good communication skills.
