Chief Technology Officer

I am partnered with an upcoming biotech who is looking for an AI / DL expert to join its founding team. This start-up is at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data science, biology, and pharmaceutical development within drug discovery.

Within this company, you will focus on creating the best practices, integrating multimodal data from preclinical and clinical sources for optimisation of drug candidates for safe and effective treatment discovery.

We are looking for a CTO with strong expertise in AI / Machine Learning / Deep Learning and a background in either Bioinformatics / Data Science. You will be responsible for shaping the technical, organizational, and operational vision of the company to hit milestones and key developments stages. You will be at the core of the AI-driven translational platform.

Your Responsibilities :

• Defining and leading AI / ML strategy (multi-objective models, explainable AI etc...)
• Designing and developing pipelines for data collection, curation, integration, and multimodal modelling.
• Setting up the technical and operational environment : stack selection, cloud / server infrastructure management, security and compliance (GDPR, health data).
• Building and leading the technical team
• Contributing to fundraising efforts and securing public funding- representing the company and global event and conferences.
• Proficiency in : Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, Scikit-learn.
• Experience with ML pipeline management (MLFlow, FastAPI, Docker)
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS, GCP) and optimization of computational resources
