The headquarters gathers approximately 1000 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities), which makes it a rich and stimulating place to work. </p> <p><strong>Within the Group, you will join the Group Chief Underwriting Office as the Pricing Actuary / Data Scientist</strong> </p> <p><strong>YOUR JOB AND DAILY MISSIONS</strong>: </p> <p><strong>Context &amp; Major Challenges</strong> </p> <p>The newly created Global Chief Underwriting Office will be accountable for establishing, enabling, and driving profit and growth through Product Underwriting Strategy, Portfolio Design and Technical Underwriting Excellence in partnership with the AXA Entities, for both Commercial and Retail, through: </p> <ul> <li>Portfolio Design Steering </li> <li>Underwriting Product Strategy and Profitability Measurement </li> <li>Technical Underwriting Guidance </li> <li>Pricing Models, Platforms and Analytics </li> <li>Risk Appetite deployment </li> <li>Ceded Reinsurance strategy design and purchasing </li> </ul> <p>As part of the CUO Office you will be an integral part of the Group Pricing Team partnering directly with underwriting, the entities and Pricing management as we look to develop and deliver our strategic objectives. </p> <p><strong>Key Accountabilities</strong> </p> <ul> <li>As part of Technical Excellence Plan, be an integral contributor, executing on an enterprise pricing model strategy that enables a strong link to data (input and output), analytics and technology. </li> <li>Support the strategic vision for predictive modeling capabilities to support pricing and underwriting </li> <li>Contribute to the development of the pricing platform, developing Pricing models with scalable languages and build towards globally consistent and flexible models to allow for real time updates to reflect dynamic and changing conditions </li> <li>Facilitate global pricing tool usage through sharing best practices, developing users guides and maintaining records within central model database </li> <li>Support the TDO strategy with regard to technical pricing and support the building of pricing platforms and methodologies </li> <li>Leverage capabilities and infrastructure developed by TDO and contribute to a clear communication with TDO and Pricing </li> <li>Work closely with pricing actuaries, data scientists and underwriting to deliver advanced analytical insights which support profitable growth. Communicate and receive feedback on these insights and adapt analyses accordingly. </li> <li>Participate in enhancements of analytic offerings and creation of new internal practice standards </li> <li>Work with IT to implement models and create architecture to support data collection and validation. </li> <li>Research new strategic approaches to modelling and pricing methodologies to improve model performance. </li> <li>Engage with UW/Pricing to solve complex model problems, and educate and enable Underwriters and Pricing Actuaries in model usage. </li> <li>Develop a strong network of relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence technical Pricing model improvements globally and drive consistency in approach where appropriate </li> </ul> <p><strong>Dimensions</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Global scope: full remit (across all businesses &amp; geographies). </li> <li>Key contributor to the Pricing Models and Analytics remit for the GCUO </li> </ul> <p><strong>Stakeholders</strong>:&nbsp;</p> <p>Head of Pricing within the entities and within Group TDO </p> <p><strong>KPIs for Success</strong>:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Measure of the partnership with the entities </li> <li>Direct influence on the strategy, pricing model and analytics development and technical performance of the entities </li> <li>Deliver on building the analytic and technology culture of the entire organization </li> <li>Enabler of the strategic plan </li> <li>Building of tools and analytics capabilities used by the entities</li> </ul><br><p>Notre raison d&rsquo;&ecirc;tre chez AXA ?
