Cyber security Governance Officer This is your mission Are you passionate about cybersecurity governance, regulations, and standards? Then this position is for you. As a Cyber Governance Officer, you will be responsible for steering cybersecurity standards, policies, and governance practices to protect IT assets and sensitive data within a regulated banking environment. Build side: Ensure conformity with external cybersecurity regulations and frameworks such as ISO, NIST, and DORA Define and maintain IT security policies within the assigned scope Translate regulatory requirements into internal cybersecurity policies and controls Monitor the formalization and implementation of cyber controls Follow and support ongoing conformity and compliance action plans Contribute to cybersecurity governance strategy and best practices Run side: Ensure ongoing compliance with internal cyber policies and processes Perform regular assessments of the entity’s cybersecurity conformity level Report cybersecurity conformity status to top management Raise employee awareness on security practices and conformity rules Challenge, approve, and provide risk opinions on new activities and projects Ensure procedures and controls are effectively applied in operations This is your background More than 6 years of experience in cybersecurity governance or related domains Proven track record in cybersecurity within regulated environments Strong exposure to standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27005, and NIST Experience working at the intersection of business, IT, and security Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels This is your career path Evolution toward senior cybersecurity governance and strategy roles Increased influence on enterprise-wide security policies and standards Opportunity to contribute to regulatory alignment and security transformation Long-term growth within a global cybersecurity and risk organization This is your expertise: Cybersecurity regulations, rules, and norms (ISO, NIST, DORA) Security policy definition and governance frameworks Cyber control design, monitoring, and verification Risk assessment and risk opinion on projects and new activities Global IT knowledge, including major processes, assets, and solutions Business–IT alignment and stakeholder engagement Governance tools and reporting using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer and ISO 27005 (preferred) This is how you work as part of a team: Strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities Clear and effective oral and written communication High personal impact and ability to influence stakeholders Adaptability in evolving regulatory and organizational contexts Strong organizational skills with the ability to synthesize and simplify complex topics Language skills: English: Fluent French: Optional This is our commitment At Consort Group, you are an expert who we support so that every assignment becomes a step that counts.
