Description de posteGeneral Information: Location: Mions (69) Schedule: Night shifts (22h00 - 6h00) Workdays: Sunday to Friday Reporting line: Senior Site Leader Team management: Linehaul Coordinators Mission & Responsibilities: Organization and Departure Management Ensure the preparation and organization of linehaul departures in line with operational plans. Guarantee strict compliance with departure schedules. Manage operational contingencies such as delays, missing items, or incomplete pallets. Operational Coordination Lead and supervise linehaul coordinators and dock teams. Oversee dock activities: prioritization, volume management, flow control, and safety compliance. Maintain clear and effective communication with operations and transport teams. Interface with Sorting Operations Ensure pallets are correctly prepared and made available for departure. Enforce sorting priorities according to departure schedules. Identify and resolve anomalies (missing parcels, misrouted pallets, incorrect palletization). Safety & Quality Assurance Apply and enforce safety procedures and standards across all dock operations. Verify load compliance and documentation accuracy. Drive continuous improvement to reduce errors and incidents. Required Competencies: Technical Skills Strong knowledge of transport and linehaul operations Expertise in dock organization, safety protocols, and transport planning. Human Skills: Proven leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams. High level of rigor, stress management, and decision-making capacity. Objectives & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): On-Time Departure (OTD): Target ≥ 98% across all lines and destinations. Palletization Error Rate: Continuous reduction, maintaining below defined thresholds (incomplete pallets, misrouting, missing/excess parcels, mixed flows). Role Impact: The Dock Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of linehaul operations. By combining organizational discipline, leadership, and operational expertise, this role directly contributes to network quality, customer satisfaction, and overall performance excellence. Job Requirements: Education & Experience Minimum Education: Junior College (Bac +2 or equivalent) Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in logistics, transport, or dock operations Skills & Competencies: Technical Skills Solid understanding of linehaul and dock operations Familiarity with transport planning, safety protocols, and palletization standards Ability to manage volume flows, prioritization, and departure schedules Soft Skills: Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate across shifts Communication: Clear and effective interaction with sorting, transport, and operations teams Rigor & Decision-Making: Strong attention to detail and ability to act under pressure Stress Management: Capable of maintaining performance in high-volume, time-sensitive environments
