CDI - Finance Lab Agentic & Automation Lead - Corporate (H/F/X)

Permanent contract, full time

Location : 136 avenue Charles de Gaulle, Neuilly-sur-Seine (France)

Hybrid: up to 2 days/week remote, subject to activity and manager approval

Travel: monthly to England; occasional international travel, including external innovation events and peer-group meetings

Reporting Line : Head of Agentic & Process Automation, Global Finance Lab (within Global Finance).

CONTEXT :

Within Global Finance (Direction Générale Finances), the Global Finance Lab – Agentic & Process Automation accelerates the adoption and effective use of CHANEL technologies and shares best practices with peers to support Finance transformation, process harmonization, Single Source of Truth (SSOT) data flows, and ESG initiatives driven by Finance.

We leverage innovative low-code/no-code automation and agentic technologies (e.g., Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Query, SharePoint, internal conversational and generative AI agents) to save time and improve service quality for Global Finance teams (primarily in London and Luxembourg), and across Regions and Divisions. The Lab Team has delivered over one hundred automation projects.

As the pace of Generative AI accelerates, the Lab is strengthening its capacity to explore, build, and bring to maturity the next generation of AI assistants and agentic solutions for Finance. This role is created to anchor that ambition: a hands-on innovation profile who both builds and frames, turning emerging AI capabilities into trusted, business-ready solutions for Finance teams.

In close collaboration with Global Process Owners, Finance teams, and CHANEL TECH contributors, we improve day-to-day operations through:

• Continuous technology watch and value assessment
• Acculturation to successful no-/low-code and Generative AI solutions
• Business framing and specifications to confirm potential ROI
• Proofs of Concept (POCs), prototypes, and mock-ups
• In some cases, transfer to build teams for industrialization

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

• Build & explore in the Lab :
• Design, prototype, and build Generative AI assistants and agents for Finance, from first concept to working solution – including conversational agents, agentic workflows, and AI-augmented automations.
• Lead exploratory lab work on emerging AI and automation capabilities (e.g., RAG patterns, API integration, prompt systems, agentic and no-code automation), assessing their maturity, value, and fit for a global luxury Finance context.
• Develop solutions on the Microsoft / Power Platform ecosystem and bring promising prototypes to a robust, demonstrable state.
• Pioneer the building of agents and personal assistants through automation – a key frontier of the no-code future – making advanced capabilities accessible to Finance makers without heavy development.
• Frame & qualify :
• Conduct business framing and specification work with Global Process Owners and Finance teams to confirm potential ROI and process owner satisfaction before and during build.
• Collect, qualify, and prioritize ideas and use cases suitable for automation, agents, or generative AI scenarios across Finance processes.
• Where relevant, prepare and support the transfer of mature solutions to build teams for industrialization.
• Acculturate & share :
• Drive acculturation of Finance teams to Generative AI and low-code solutions through workshops, demos, coaching sessions, and events with makers and key stakeholders (priority focus on Global teams in London/Luxembourg).
• Animate and feed the community of champions: share best practices, successful use cases, and effective prompts for conversational and generative AI agents – primarily via the communication site.
• Contribute to the studies led by the Lab (business requirements, specification documents) and to peer exchanges with external partners.
• Maintain a continuous technology watch on LLM and Generative AI developments and translate it into practical guidance for Finance business users.
• Represent the Lab in external innovation ecosystems – including the Innovation Makers Alliance (IMA), Microsoft, and peer companies – bringing external insight back into CHANEL Finance.

WHAT YOU BRING :

• Generative AI & agentic build expertise: proven, hands-on experience designing and building Generative AI assistants and AI agents – including agentic workflows, RAG patterns, API integration, and prompt systems deployed in production.
• Microsoft tooling & Power Platform: strong practical command of the Microsoft suite and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Query, Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio).
• LLM & Generative AI watch and practice: demonstrated track record of staying at the forefront of LLM and Generative AI innovation and turning it into concrete, working solutions.
• Around 8 years of experience in digital transformation, automation, or innovation delivery (Finance exposure is a strong plus).
• Ability to frame business needs and qualify potential ROI with process owners, balancing exploration with business value.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and acculturation skills: workshops, community animation, and content creation (SharePoint/Teams/newsletters).
• Fluent professional English and French; comfortable in an international, matrix environment.
• Master’s degree (engineering or business school) or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Finance

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Power Platform PL-series, Azure AI)
• Experience in the luxury sector or a comparable global brand environment
• Finance domain exposure across processes such as S2P, O2C, R2R, Treasury, and Tax
