The purpose of the Q&FS Manager role is to lead the deployment of theMarsSnackingQ&FSstrategy on the site driving continuous improvement in Quality & Food Safety management systemsandcompliance toourQ&FS standards.
What are we looking for
Extensiveexperience in a technical function
Degree level qualification in a relevant technical or scientific discipline (Food Science/Technology Biological Chemical Engineering sciences) or equivalent or equivalent experience
Experience in leading and managing projects in an FMCG environment
Proven linemanagement/supervisoryexperience or a proven track record in coaching and developing teams and individuals
Knowledge of Quality & Food Safety management systems and standards
Knowledge of the technologies processes formulations and raw materials used in the manufacture of food products is preferred
Excellent communication skills
Good command of the English AND French language
What will be your key responsibilities
Lead coach and support a team ofQ&FSAssociates ensuring they have the necessary resources technical skills and competencies to succeed within their roles
Actively be partof the Site Leadership team supporting the development and implementation of theSinglesiteimprovement plan.
Provide cross-functional leadership to ensure the development of a clear roadmap to full compliance to all global Q&FS standards collaborating with local and central teams to ensure the necessary resources and capital are secured
Ensure the integration of Q&FS procedures and processes into manufacturing operating systems
Act as the incident ownerfor Q&FS incidents on site in line with our PRIMP standard and lead the implementation of robust corrective and preventative actions
Lead and participate in regional Q&FS communities to promote the effective sharing of knowledge and experience acrossour business
Lead regional or cross-site activities and projects in line with our regional Q&FS strategy and in collaboration withour network of sites.
