Senior IP Counsel Join our Corporate Intellectual Property team as Senior IP Counsel and be part of our dynamic and entrepreneurial international ecosystem to unlock value and drive transformation for our luxury licensed brands.

Responsibilities

You will act as the strategic IP partner for our luxury licensed brands, serving as the key point of contact for our prestigious fashion house partners.

You will implement a robust IP clearance strategy, taking into account key launch territories, distinctiveness, and operating conditions of the earlier rights identified during prior art searches, as well as actions that can be taken to mitigate legal and reputational risks (e.g., cancellation actions, agreements).

You will manage and coordinate international IP litigation and disputes, including oppositions, infringement actions, and unfair competition proceedings.

You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to IP rights, such as license, coexistence, and collaboration agreements.

You will manage several IP portfolios in collaboration with our global network and raise IP awareness among key stakeholders, including marketing and legal teams.

Required Skills

A highly experienced professional with 10 to 12 years in IP law, having honed your skills in a top‑tier international law firm or within the in‑house legal department of a dynamic, high‑growth company. Knowledge of the luxury sector and its competitive landscape is of strong value for this position.

Expertise in intellectual property law (trademarks, designs, copyrights) with proven skills in contracts and litigation.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a talent for translating complex legal guidelines into clear, actionable advice for business teams.

Excellent organizational and communication skills, with an ability to thrive in a dynamic, high‑growth international environment.

A collaborative and persuasive mindset, capable of leading high‑level meetings and negotiations effectively.

Impeccable fluency in French and English is mandatory for this role.
