Data Analyst Assistant

We are looking for a Data Analyst Assistant to support our internal research teams and senior advisors. In this role, you will help process and organize the information that forms the basis of our commercial recommendations. Much of your initial work will involve supporting a specific engagement where our partner is a Paris based entity navigating complex investment decisions. This is a full-time, permanent position that is conducted entirely through a remote working arrangement. You will be expected to manage your tasks independently while staying in close contact with our partners through digital collaboration tools. The position is paid, and we offer a competitive rate that is attractive for an entry level professional looking to gain experience in commercial advisory.

What you will do

• Gather and organize raw data from various public and private sources to support commercial assessments.
• Clean and maintain datasets to ensure that senior advisors are working with accurate, up to date information.
• Research the behavior of competitors and counterparties in specific markets to verify ground reality.
• Assist in the preparation of charts, tables, and visual aids for client briefings and internal strategy notes.
• Monitor regulatory updates and announcements from sovereign entities that might affect client positions.
• Conduct basic statistical checks to identify trends or anomalies in market data.
• Support the drafting of internal documents that summarize findings for the senior partners who lead our engagements.
• Ensure all research findings are properly cited and backed by verifiable evidence rather than theoretical models.

What you bring

• A logical mind and the ability to look at data through a commercial lens rather than a purely academic one.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to explain complex findings in plain, direct English.
• Comfort with basic spreadsheet software and the ability to organize large amounts of information clearly.
• A disciplined approach to research and a high level of accuracy when checking facts and figures.
• Commercial curiosity and an interest in how large scale investments and partnerships are structured.
• The ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively without constant direct supervision in a remote environment.
