Senior Technical Recruitment Coordinator – Chemical Industry

Our client is a leading international chemical company seeking a Senior Technical Recruitment Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the recruitment of technical professionals across France while supporting international recruitment activities.

This is a strategic Talent Acquisition role focused on recruitment coordination, stakeholder management and selection of highly qualified technical professionals. Candidate sourcing is managed by external partners, allowing the successful candidate to concentrate on recruitment quality, candidate assessment and hiring coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the recruitment process for technical and engineering positions across France.
• Act as the primary interface between hiring managers, external recruitment partners and candidates.
• Define recruitment priorities and ensure external search firms deliver qualified candidate shortlists.
• Review and assess candidates presented by external recruiters.
• Conduct technical and behavioural interviews alongside hiring managers.
• Advise managers throughout the recruitment process and support hiring decisions.
• Coordinate international recruitment projects and ensure consistency of recruitment standards across regions.
• Monitor recruitment KPIs, recruitment quality and time-to-hire.
• Continuously improve recruitment processes and strengthen collaboration with external recruitment partners.

Candidate Profile

• Chemical Engineer (or equivalent scientific background) is mandatory.
• Previous professional experience within the chemical industry is essential.
• Experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Coordination or Technical Recruitment.
• Strong understanding of technical, engineering and industrial roles.
• Ability to challenge and evaluate candidates from a technical perspective.
• Experience managing external recruitment agencies or executive search firms.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to coordinate multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
• Fluent English and French are required.
