Associate Data Analyst

We are expanding our team to support a large scale project for a major European logistics provider. This client is currently expanding their reach and they have a significant amount of data coming from different warehouses and transportation hubs. We need an Associate Data Analyst to help us organize this information so the client can actually use it to make decisions. You will be helping us bridge the gap between messy raw logs and the clear internal dashboards we build for their managers.

The Role
As an Associate Data Analyst, your primary focus will be supporting our work with the logistics client mentioned above. This is a fully remote position where you will spend much of your time looking at data structures and finding ways to clean them up. The logistics world is full of different formats and legacy systems, and your job is to help us get all that information into a single, reliable source.
You will work closely with our developers to ensure that the data being pulled from the client APIs is accurate. You will spend your days identifying gaps in datasets, creating basic reports, and helping us verify that the logic in our dashboards matches the reality on the warehouse floor. This role is less about complex machine learning and more about the fundamental work of data integrity, sorting, and clear presentation.

What we need from you
We are looking for someone who is organized and has a logical way of thinking about problems. Since this is an entry-level position, we do not expect you to be an expert in every tool, but we do need you to be comfortable with the following:

• A solid foundation in math and statistics.
• The ability to look at a large spreadsheet or database and spot patterns or errors.
• Clear communication skills, especially when explaining what a specific set of numbers actually means for a business.
• A high level of attention to detail: getting the numbers wrong can cause real problems for our clients.
• A preference for simple, clean solutions over overly complicated reports.
• The ability to work independently in a remote setting and stay on top of your tasks.
• Curiosity about how businesses operate and how data helps them grow.

Helpful background
While we will help you get up to speed on our specific processes, it would be helpful if you have some familiarity with these tools and concepts:

• Basic knowledge of SQL or how relational databases like Postgres work.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools or basic dashboarding.
• An understanding of how APIs work and how data moves between different software systems.
• Experience using GitHub for version control or a willingness to learn it quickly.
• A background or interest in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
• Some exposure to scripting languages like Python or JavaScript for data manipulation.
