Job Description

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Product Development & Innovation

  • Participate in the design and development of mechatronic products from innovation phase to serial life.
  • Support the definition of product architectures and technical solutions based on customer and business requirements.
  • Contribute to feasibility studies, benchmarking activities, and innovation projects.
  • Support concept generation, trade-off analyses, and technical risk assessments.

Mechanical Engineering

  • Design and optimize mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools.
  • Support tolerance analysis, kinematic studies, and structural assessments.
  • Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
  • Contribute to prototype development and testing activities.

Electronics & Control Engineering

  • Support integration of electronic components such as sensors, actuators, control units, and communication interfaces.
  • Participate in electrical architecture definition and validation activities.
  • Contribute to testing and troubleshooting of electronic systems and components.

Systems Engineering

  • Apply a systems engineering methodology to ensure consistency between mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software functions.
  • Support requirement capture, decomposition, traceability, and verification activities.
  • Participate in system architecture reviews and functional analyses.
  • Contribute to DFMEA, risk management, and problem-solving activities.

Validation & Industrialization

  • Support prototype build, validation plans, laboratory testing, and vehicle integration activities.
  • Analyze test results and contribute to corrective actions when required.
  • Assist engineering teams during product industrialization and launch phases.
  • Support serial production issue resolution using structured engineering problem-solving methodologies.

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to engineering efficiency initiatives and best practices deployment.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
  • Perform technology watch activities related to mechatronics, electrification, sensors, actuators, and smart systems.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level: Licence Degree studying into Master's Degree (or equivalent Engineering School curriculum) in:

  • Mechatronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering with Electronics specialization
  • Automotive Engineering / Systems Engineering

Experience :

  • Previous internship, academic project, or apprenticeship in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electronics, or automotive development.
  • Exposure to product development processes is a plus.
  • Experience with CAD tools and laboratory testing is good to have.

Skills and competencies

  • Mechanical design and product development.Fundamentals of electronics and embedded systems.Systems engineering principles and methodologies.Knowledge of sensors, actuators, motors, and control systems.CAD software proficiency (CATIA, NX or equivalent).Technical problem-solving and analytical skills.Familiarity with validation and testing methodologies.Strong curiosity and innovation mindset.Ability to work in multidisciplinary and international teams.Structured and analytical approach.Good communication and presentation skills.Autonomous while maintaining strong team collaboration.
