Who we are The RFOC Software R&D organization designs, develops and delivers the software required to support the product roadmaps of the RFOC Sub‑Group divisions. We ensure that our software meets high quality, safety and security standards while matching market requirements in terms of performance, functionality and time‑to‑market. Within this organization, we are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Specialist (Quality Champion) who will work transversally with different product teams to support and strengthen our software quality culture and practices. What you will do As a Software Quality Assurance Specialist / Quality Champion, you will:

• Act as the quality reference for one or more software product teams
• Support teams in tailoring and applying the RFOC software development and quality processes
• Help define and track quality milestones (reviews, test readiness, release readiness, KPIs, etc.)
• Contribute to process compliance with internal procedures and applicable safety/security requirements
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits (preparation of evidence, follow‑up of actions)
• Review key work products (requirements, design, tests, reports) from a quality perspective
• Promote best practices (reviews, test strategy, traceability, configuration management, CI/CD, automation)
• Collaborate closely with developers, project leaders and other stakeholders to balance effort and quality goals
• Contribute to continuous improvement of our processes, methods and tools, based on feedback and lessons learned

Who you are

• You have a background in software (e.g. Software Engineer, Embedded Developer, Tester, System Engineer) and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience in software quality assurance, process, audits or safety/security is a plus; otherwise you show strong motivation to learn and grow quickly in this direction.
• You are comfortable discussing technical topics (e.g. requirements, design, tests, code) with development teams.
• You have a structured and analytical mindset, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and robustness.
• You demonstrate strong communication and relational skills and you enjoy working transversally with multiple teams.
• You are able to negotiate and influence to find realistic compromises between quality, effort and planning.
• You are curious, open to feedback and willing to continuously improve both your skills and the way we work.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; French or other languages are a plus depending on your location.

This position is suitable both for someone with prior QA experience and for a senior or motivated software developer who wants to move towards a quality / process‑oriented role with transversal impact. The position can be filled as well in Grenoble, Le Bourget du Lac, Agrate, #MDRF, #RFOC MDRF perimeter only.
