Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Component Performance Engineer(f/m) to join our FHS-Component Engineering department based in Toulouse France.

As FHS-C Component Performance Engineer within our international team (1SYRC) you will be the focal point for a set of airlines to deliver on time and QUality FHS Engineering services with direct customer facing influencing Airbus FHS business performance & profitability.

Your challenges:

• Identify top reliability critical drivers and tackle any other identified business offenders by using our set of short/mid or long term levers (GMTBUR claims repair price/workscope challenge retrofit decisions & prioritization SISP/MISP opening ...)

• prepare regular Technical Performance Reviews (TRM) for your customers and provide support to their daily operations

• work in a dynamic environment by collaborating with worldwide Airbus teams as FHS functions (SMRx) our overseas engineering teams and also Procurement (PESC) Supplier Management (SOP) Program Support (SBx) and benefit from the technical expertise of the whole Customer Support Engineering teams (1SYx).

• contribute to the regular review of our program cost base to improve our competitiveness in this highly challenging market

• have the opportunity to deploy yourself in our Business development projects

Your boarding pass:

• Experience in System Engineering Customer Services - multi ATA & multi programs

• Experience in FHS-C/PbH component reliability activities airline maintenance operations / MRO would be a plus

• Good Stakeholder management: ability to connect and influence in a context of different interests with numerous stakeholders

• Proven experience in Skywise Contour and Slate computing

• Curious & innovation mindset: digital and artificial intelligence

• Excellent direct customer-facing communication skills

• autonomous proactive simplicity and able to quickly adapt to constantly changing priorities in order to contribute to the performance of our business

• good communication

• Team player positive and collaborative mindset

• Work in an international environment multicultural team with different practices

• Negotiation level in English

• This role will involve some travels anywhere throughout the world to deliver technical review meetings to our airline customers
