Job description
You are going to join the Compliance Regulatory & Governance team within the Legal & Compliance Department of BOC Paris Branch as a Compliance Officer Middle Level.
The main mission of the Compliance Officer within the Regulatory & Governance team is to participate in the improvement of the compliance risk management process within the bank as well as ensure that the BAU activity of the team is handled properly.
You will contributes to the implementation and proper application of French and European legislation, as well as Bank of China Group’s rules, in terms of regulatory compliance (MiFID, EMIR, GDPR, DORA, CRD, etc.), with a focus on risks other than AML/CFT (e.g. customer protection, protection of market integrity, conflict of interest amongst others). At the same time, the Compliance Officer ensures adherence to the bank's rules and codes of conduct.
You will also participates in second-level controls towards the activities carried out by the various business lines.
