GTS Space is working with a company who is looking for an Electrical Architect to join their satellite programme in France.Electrical Architect – SatellitesLocation: FranceThis is an opportunity to take ownership of electrical architecture on spacecraft programmes, from concept through to qualification and delivery. You'll define the electrical power system design, harness architecture and interface control documentation, working closely with AIT, systems and mechanical teams to ensure the satellite platform meets performance and reliability requirements.What you'll be doingDefining and owning the electrical architecture for satellite platforms, covering power generation, distribution, storage and regulationProducing and maintaining electrical block diagrams, ICDs and harness specificationsLeading trade-off studies on EPS topology, battery sizing and power budgetSupporting AIT and test campaigns, including troubleshooting electrical issues at subsystem and system levelWorking with suppliers on electrical component selection and qualificationInterfacing with systems engineering to ensure electrical requirements are captured and verified throughout the programme lifecycleWhat they're looking forDegree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering or related disciplineProven experience in electrical architecture design for spacecraft or satellite platformsStrong grounding in power systems (EPS), harness design and electrical interfacesFamiliarity with space qualification standards and processes (ECSS or equivalent)Comfortable working across the full development lifecycle, from concept to AITFluent French and EnglishIf this sounds like your kind of challenge, get in touch to find out more.
