As part of the Group Legal Department, you will act as a Senior Legal Counsel dedicated to supporting operational teams on all key matters related to Real Estate Law. Secure real estate transactions and provide hands-on legal support to teams (store network, business units). Draft, negotiate and approve complex real estate contracts (commercial leases, transfers of business assets, lease rights, deeds of sale, mandates). Manage the contractual relationship with landlords, developers and real estate partners. Advise and support operational teams on technical and regulatory aspects, notably on condominium issues, retail sector matters and lease-management (location-gérance), as well as corporate real estate matters (industrial sites, offices and agricultural land). Manage real estate litigation procedures and develop associated strategies. Oversee relationships with external lawyers, notaries and outside counsel. Evaluate and quantify legal and financial risks. Support operational teams on Real Estate Law matters, including negotiations and due diligence for real estate transactions. Manage relationships with landlords, developers and real estate partners. Advise on technical and regulatory aspects (condominium issues, retail sector matters, lease-management, and corporate real estate matters). Manage real estate litigation procedures and develop strategies. Coordinate with external counsel, notaries and other professionals. Assess and quantify legal and financial risks. Qualifications
Advanced degree in Real Estate Law (Master 2 specialized in Real Estate Law or equivalent). Minimum of 6–8 years’ experience in an in-house legal department of a real estate company or for a retail brand with a large store portfolio. Deep expertise in commercial real estate law, commercial leases, real estate litigation and strong knowledge of condominium law. Strong business acumen and ability to act as a strategic partner to operational teams. Excellent advisory skills, service orientation and results-driven mindset. Autonomy, rigor, energy, strong organizational skills, adaptability and excellent interpersonal skills. Professional command of English enabling handling of occasional international matters. Ability to work in a demanding environment with high resilience in complex situations. Certifications & Qualifications
