U-Space aims to become the European leader in SmallSat constellations.

Our aspiration is to combine the flexibility of NewSpace with the rigor of historic space, with the aim of providing local, high-quality support to our customers.

Our new-generation 12U and FreeForm (microsatellite) products are designed and assembled by passionate teams in our 1000m² U-Zine. Designed for constellations and mass production, they embody our daily commitment to quality, innovation and team spirit.

Job description

Within the Sales Department as Sales Manager (M / F), your main responsibilities will be as follows :

Ensure the business prospection

  • Identify and target new potential customers based on the defined commercial strategy,
  • Feed the commercial pipeline with new opportunities (resulting from trade shows, direct contacts,

monitoring of calls for tender, ...)

Manage the sales cycle

  • Cover from identifying and qualifying new opportunities to closing and taking the order
  • Execute the company’s commercial process, prepare and lead the reviews, implement the decisions
  • Draft the commercial offer with support from company’s engineering, industrial, and legal teams
  • Negotiate the offer with the customers obtaining the best conditions for U-Space
  • Support contracts execution

  • Support the Project Leader in maintaining customers satisfaction and easing issues
  • Ensure proper invoicing and timely payment collection, facilitating disputes resolution
  • Detect customers requests exceeding contractual commitments or new / unsatisfied neds, propose
  • and negotiate the necessary amendments

    Support the product policy development

  • Provide feedback on competitors' pricing, strengths and weaknesses
  • Provide feedback on market trends (emerging technos, regulations,...) and their impact on
  • company’s products and services

  • Provide feedback on customers needs and their key decision-making criteria
  • Desired profile

    Graduated from a business or engineering school (MS / MBA), you have a strong experience in selling technological customized products to commercial and institutional customers (BtoB / BtoG)..

    You enjoy understanding the customers needs and providing them the right answers. In doing so you demonstrate a high level of autonomy and creativity while observing corporate directions.

    You are comfortable with working with and challenging technical teams to build the best solution.

    You communicate effectively and know how to persuade and win a bid.

    Fluency in French and English is a must.

    A deep understanding of the space sector, particularly NewSpace, will be highly valued.
