About the Role and Team

As the leading Collectibles marketplace in the world our mission is to be the most loved destination for collectors of Arts and antiques trading cards memorabilia toys comics coins and more. To accomplish this we put our collectors first and innovate diligently to optimize experiences across our platform.

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Collectibles Category Manager to cover 12-month parental leave cover to drive growth and innovation across eBays Collectibles categories with a focus on Arts and Antiques. You will own the categorys vision and execution working cross-functionally to develop the buyer and seller journey identify growth opportunities and strengthen eBays leadership in Collectibles.

What You Will Accomplish

• Drive strategy development execution and continuous optimization for the Collectibles category with a focus on Arts and Antiques.

• Lead and deliver high-impact strategic projects within your category with a particular focus on eBay Live - driving launch adoption and performance

• Assess the French competitive landscape market trends and eBays internal data to identify supply and demand challenges uncover opportunities and define actionable plans.

• Collaborate with global and local teams on seller acquisition and account management inventory expansion tailored marketing initiatives as well as trust-building measures to deliver a seamless buyer/seller experience.

• Develop strategic relationships with industry players to improve services and offerings for Collectibles buyers and sellers.

• Strengthen eBays presence within the collector community and across social and digital channels.

• Monitor analyze and report on key category metrics to measure success inform decisions and guide future initiatives.

What You Will Bring

• Demonstrated ability in category management strategy e-commerce consulting retail or consumer tech.

• Strong expertise in the Arts and Antiques industry.

• First-hand experience buying or selling on eBay or competitor platforms.

• Shown success in running complex projects and driving business growth.

• Excellent communication relationship-building and presentation skills.

• Data-driven approach with strong analytical and reporting skills

• Creative problem-solver and self-starter comfortable working independently and cross-functionally.

• Proficient in both French and English (oral and written).
