Are you a highly skilled Computational Biologist with a passion for the latest advancements within Oncology Research? My client, an incredibly well back growing pioneering Biotech company dedicated to revolutionizing cancer treatment. By integrating cutting-edge biology with data-driven and AI-powered analysis, they position themselves at the forefront of enhancing novel anti-cancer therapies. Their approach spans cell biology, engineering, and machine learning. As a Senior Computational Biologist , you will be responsible for analyzing complex biological data using computational tools. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop algorithms, perform bioinformatics analyses, and guide experimental design. Your Responsibilities : Developing Omics Processing Pipelines : Work closely with Engineers to ensure seamless deployment of pipelines on cloud infrastructure. Establish and apply cutting-edge genomic and transcriptomic quality control processes to identify experimental inconsistencies and uphold exceptional data quality across the platform. Develop user-friendly tools and solutions to enable seamless access to our data for internal researchers and external collaborators, facilitating efficient exploration and utilization of the datasets. Who You Are : Education : PhD or equivalent experience in computational biology, computational genomics, machine learning, or a related discipline. Bioinformatics Expertise : Proficiency in processing and analyzing WGS (whole-genome sequencing) and RNA-seq data. Pipeline Development : Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing omics data processing pipelines. Cloud Computing : Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for deploying and scaling computational workflows. Programming Languages : Strong skills in Python, R, or other scripting languages commonly used in bioinformatics. Data Engineering Tools : Familiarity with tools like Nextflow, Snakemake, or CWL for workflow orchestration. Database Development : Experience creating user-friendly tools or dashboards for data exploration (e.g., via APIs, custom web interfaces, or tools like Shiny).
