Compliance Officier - International

The company is a market leader crypto exchange on a mission to put the power of crypto into everyone's hands, and we are building a market leading Compliance function to support these goals. As we grow our Compliance function globally, we are now looking for an exceptional individual to join the team and take ownership for our Compliance responsibilities for Company in France.. Your mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Maintaining and developing Company relationships with regulatory authorities such as the Autorité Des Marchés Financiers (AMF) and Traitement Du Renseignement et Action Contre Les Circuits Financier (TRACFIN) in order to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating closely with other team members at Company to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with regulatory compliance.
• Reviewing and updating policies, procedures, and processes to ensure continuous adherence to local regulatory requirements.
• Keeping up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations and working with key stakeholders to provide guidance and interpretation.
• Supporting the business in the development and launch of new products while ensuring compliance with French regulatory requirements to foster innovation within the established boundaries.

A little about you:

● Experience in Compliance or Financial Crime within fintech or financial services;

● Excellent knowledge of the French regulatory environment and experience in driving positive engagement with regulatory bodies;

● Ability to present complex facts and issues in an understandable manner;

● Fluent in both French and English (inc. written);

● Organisational, time management, problem solving, multitasking skills and a positive "can do" attitude;

● Strong interest in fintech and/or cryptocurrency. Experience in or understanding of cryptocurrency is desirable (but not essential); and

● Strong academic qualification

Full package salary :

• Between 100 / 110k €
• Expenses incured in the course of the role will be reimbursed

• Training / Budget available for certification specific for this role
• Standard working hours
• Work remotly with occasional travel to our UK Office
• 25 Days annual entitlement ( 30 days after 5 years ) + Public Holidays
